Norma, a resident of Riverview NB, began painting in oils 15 years ago.  After several years she switched to watercolor painting.  She enjoyed watercolor as it was so fresh, clean and convenient to use.  She has studied with many professional artists and has taken courses at the Community College and Mount Allison University.

Norma has participated in many group exhibits in Moncton, Dieppe and other New Brunswick locations.  Her work is also on exhibit at the Moncton Art Society Gallery and Heron Bay gallery in Shediac.

Norma's work has received several awards at the Provincial Art Fair and her work is in private collections in North America and Europe.  She is an active member of both the Moncton Art Society and the Riverview Arts Council and is currently on committees of both groups.

Norma is inspired by the beauty of Atlantic Canada - especially the many shores, fishing villages, forests, lakes and streams.
